For more than a decade, American Outdoor Lighting was shaped by Bob Scott’s vision and dedication, earning a reputation for excellence across Houston.

Years after first meeting, a water damage emergency at the Ryder family home reunited Bob and Jeremy. What began as a repair project grew into a partnership, combining Jeremy’s work ethic with Bob’s expertise in remodeling and handyman services.

As Bob enters a well-deserved retirement, he is passing the business to Jeremy and Rachel Ryder. As parents of two young daughters, they believe a home is more than a structure—it’s a legacy.

To reflect this next chapter, we’ve renamed the company Heritage Home & Lighting Solutions, uniting our lighting and custom home services under one name. We’re honored to continue Bob’s legacy and look forward to serving your home—inside and out—for many years to come.
